The main street that runs through my town in lined with banners on all of the phone poles. At the bottom of each sign it says the name of my town and then
"Proud of our past, hopeful for our future."
Hmm, that doesn't sound too good for the present state of my town does it?

i've always chuckled at those... i add in "but our present sucks"... haha.
of course, i can't talk - you're in a nicer town than me :)

Or how about, "Clifton Heights: There are places worse, but they wouldn't bother with banners." And I really shouldn't talk either. Folcroft doesn't even have 4th of July fireworks.
